The creation of a culture is essential in order to handle the key task in an organization. A simple way to develop the culture of a company is to use the values of the company. Often the spoken values perform mostly as a theoretical quality,that everybody can’t disagree with. A development of culture can be expanded and directed if the employees and the management together identify the key positions, and basic values of the company. These basic values should be essential factors of success – an axis of rotation for securing the best productivity in the specific company.
In Psykologkonsult we have several examples of tasks concerning culture. For example at the Peder Lykke Center: a modern centre where the job is to provide different services for the elderly. With the project called Employer Branding we worked with specifying of attitudes / behaviours that carried vital importance in the community about the key task. Results of the project was a significant increase in job satisfaction for all employees, a greater pride and experience of a team spirit. Economically the result was a reduction in sick leave for all employees from about 11% when the project started until the end of 2012 when the rate had dropped to 3.6%.
